What is a tradeline?

A tradeline is a credit line that appears on your credit report. When someone (a "Credit Partner") adds you as an authorized user on their credit card, that credit line begins reporting to your report as well.

The tradeline maintains your authorized user status for 2 billing cycles. During that time, the Credit Partner's history reflects on your report: account age, limit, payment history.

It's not magic. It doesn't "raise your score" automatically. It's real information added to your report. What bureaus and lenders do with that information depends on the rest of your credit profile.

How the process works

Within 24 hours we confirm the tradeline is still available and send you the customer contract + secure payment link.

  3. 03

You digitally sign the Tradeline User Agreement and pay via electronic check. Important: credit cards are not accepted for the final transaction.

What we guarantee

No empty promises. This is exactly what we deliver.

  • If you purchase before the tradeline's "purchase deadline," it posts on the next listed Reporting Period.

  • You maintain Authorized User status for 2 billing cycles.

  • The tradeline posts to 2 of 3 bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, Experian).

  • No late payments reported in the tradeline's history.

  • Credit utilization 15% or less during your time as AU.

What we DO NOT guarantee

Legal honesty above marketing. This is what's outside our control.

  • We do not guarantee positive results on your credit score. You may gain points, none, or even drop — it depends on your full profile.

  • We do not guarantee access to loans, new credit, or cards. Tradeline usage is just one variable.

  • We don't answer 'how many points will I gain' because it would be guessing. We don't make score predictions.

  • We do not guarantee results beyond the tradeline posting.

  • The tradeline WILL NOT post if you have active fraud alerts or credit freezes. You must remove them before purchasing.

Required documents at checkout

Information needed to process your order.

  • Authorized User's Driver's License (color photo)

  • Authorized User's Social Security Card

  • Billing Party's Driver's License (if different from the AU)

  • Payment method: Electronic Check only (no credit cards accepted)

We do not sell tradelines to Georgia residents. This restriction is provider policy and cannot be changed.

Frequently asked questions

The tradeline reports for 2 billing cycles of the Credit Partner (typically 2 calendar months). After that you are removed as Authorized User. Some bureaus may keep the reported history longer on your report, but that depends on the bureau, not us.

If the tradeline doesn't post to 2 of 3 bureaus within the expected Reporting Period, you're entitled to a full refund. You must request the refund in writing within 21 days, provide proof (CreditKarma.com account), and we process the refund in 10 days.

To add you as Authorized User on the Credit Partner's account. Card issuers require verifiable identity information. Your information is used ONLY for that purpose and is not shared with third parties except those necessary to process your order.

Yes, completely legal. Authorized User tradelines are a mechanism established by card issuers (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, etc.) to allow third parties to use a credit line with the holder's consent. What we do is facilitate connections between Credit Partners (holders) and Authorized Users (you).

There is inherent risk in being added as an Authorized User on third-party accounts. Card issuers may initiate fraud investigations if they detect unusual patterns. It's important you understand this risk before purchasing — it's covered in the Tradeline User Agreement you'll sign.

Provider policy. Credit cards are not accepted because chargebacks would complicate the fraud monitoring process of issuers. Payment via ACH/Electronic Check is direct and verifiable.

Yes. Multiple tradelines accelerate your credit history building. However, all risks and terms apply individually to each tradeline. We recommend starting with 1-2 before purchasing more.

Honestly, no in most cases. Authorized User tradelines require SSN for issuers to add you to the account. If you have ITIN, consider our other services: credit repair or business credit building.
